Stainless steel laser cutting made for use in sectors such as food, beverage, pharmaceutical and medical need to be not only precision made to exact specifications, but also hygienic and easy to clean with no pits or grooves where harmful bacteria can lurk.
This is why CH Barnett uses the very latest methods to cut stainless steel prior to assembly.
Although traditional cutting methods provide highly accurate results when carried out by skilled fabrication engineers, here at CH Barnett we use innovative CNC stainless steel laser cutting machinery. CNC laser cutting offers a number of benefits over traditional methods, such as:
- CNC laser machinery can be programmed from customers CAD data to ensure that the stainless steel is cut to a high degree of accuracy, meeting their specifications exactly, with no errors.
- Once programmed, CNC machinery can be set to produce the same identical pattern in a fraction of the time that it would take cutting by hand. This means that production time is cut, making the process more cost effective for large batch runs.
- Edges are cut cleanly and hygienically in an extremely clean environment, which is ideal for products being fabricated for use in sectors where hygiene is vital.
- Traditional methods of cutting can cause the steel to warp. CNC machinery enables stainless steel of up to 15mm to be cut without losing any quality in the cut, with minimal warping – if any.
Our services cover all aspects of the stainless steel fabrication process. We use CNC machinery to carry out processes such as bending and drilling, and are able to provide an extensive range of supplementary processes such as welding, rolling, polishing, assembly, bead blasting, and finishing.
