Quality has always been at the heart of everything CH Barnett does. Our policy of continuous improvement together with our “right first time” philosophy – which ensures that, however detailed and complex our customers’ specifications are, they will be met on the first time of asking – is why we have always been able to deliver exceptional quality stainless structural steel fabrications for over 65 years.
As part of this continuous improvement, we are delighted to announce that we are now hold CE marking approval to EN 1090 accreditation in relation to providing stainless steelwork for the construction industry.
This is not only great news for us, but for our customers too. We are now able to produce stainless structural steel, including secondary steelwork such as staircases and walkways, for food production plants, or pharmaceutical and medical facilities.
In industries such as these that demand no cross-contamination, standard steelwork is not good enough. We are experts in producing stainless steel fabrications for the food, pharmaceutical and medical sectors where absolute cleanliness, hygiene and corrosion resistance is vital.
Being EN 1090 accredited means that we can not only supply contact parts and products, such as product weighing equipment, packaging equipment, tablet counting machines, frames and assemblies, but structural products too – all fabricated from stainless steel.
As with all of our products made for these sectors, because they are fabricated from stainless steel, they are free of lines, pits and grooves which could harbour bacteria. In addition, they are easy to keep clean and sanitise.
Our customers can rest assured that they are not just getting high quality stainless steel fabrications, but that they meet all the necessary regulations and standards too.
