For over 60 years, CH Barnett has been providing a range of services covering all facets of sheet metalwork and fabrication, offering our customers a complete solution. Our customers are from many different industries including oil, gas, architectural and environmental, as well as food, medical and pharmaceutical.

Using the latest technology, we have the capacity to produce high-quality fabrications of up to 5 tons and stainless steel down to 1mm at our factory in the West Midlands.

Our highly skilled workforce is trained and certificated in the use of modern CNC High Tech Equipment and traditional MIG (metal inert gas) and TIG (tungsten inert gas) welding techniques.

Working with stainless steel and aluminium, we are able to turn the raw metal into custom-made products through processes such as cutting, punching, bending, rolling, drilling, polishing, machining and bead blasting.

Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) machinery

To enable us to meet our customers’ requirements, we are able to import various types of CAD formats, including Solidworks which we currently use, into our computer-operated machinery, giving us full compatibility with our customers’ systems.

From CNC laser cutting to CNC press brakes, many of our operations are based on these cutting-edge technologies to provide high-quality, high-accuracy services. Using high laser power, our Trumpf 4kw flying optics laser gives versatile and flexible laser cutting with high-speed processing. The precision of laser cutting enables us to cut metals into complex and intricate designs with a clean, hygienic edge.

Our CNC press brakes are able to handle sheets of up to four metres long and 130 tons and will bend components and assemblies accurately and efficiently. For more information about our services call 0121 773 5222.
