A lightweight alternative to stainless steel

Aluminium offers a number of benefits over other metals.  A lightweight and soft metal, aluminium can be easily formed and bent to create shapes, as well as offering excellent corrosion resistance with no rust spotting – as can happen with mild steel.  This makes it the perfect metal for use in products and components for the sectors mentioned above.

CH Barnett operates in a ‘clean’ environment, which ensures that no contamination (such as contamination with ferrous metals) occurs during production.  This is critical for parts destined for the food, medical and pharmaceutical industries.

A comprehensive aluminium fabrication service

We have the skills, equipment and production capacity to undertake the entire aluminium fabrication process, from design through to CNC laser cutting and bending, and on to drilling, rolling, welding and assembly, polishing, bead blasting and specialist aluminium finishing.

Due to the soft nature of aluminium, it takes experienced personnel to undertake all fabrication processes to a high quality.  With a low melting point, welding aluminium is known to be very hard to carry out.  However, our coded welders are highly skilled in welding aluminium and are able to produce welds of excellent quality and consistency.
